CVG is a non profit members based scientific organization.
 
CVG OBJECTIVES
To provide a forum to discuss related issues in the art and science of instrument calibration and method validation.
To get to know fellow colleagues from different organizations.
To promote exchange of knowledge and sharing of ideas.
To learn about recent developments in analytical techniques and instrumentation.
To organize seminars and training in instrument calibration, method development, and method validation.
Regular seminars and an annual convention focus on instrument qualification, calibration and method validation issues.
Recent developments in analytical techniques and instrumentation, stability studies, method development and GMP/GLP issues are also discussed to address the different analytical needs of members.
Participants come from a wide range of backgrounds which include pharmaceuticals, chemicals, environmental, food, distilleries, bio-technology, instrument vendors, government agencies, local colleges and universities.
 
MISSION & VISION
To participate with industrial, academic and regulatory bodies to provide education and forums for discussion of calibration and validation practices throughout the nation.
To be recognized, nationally and internationally, as the Canadian authority on calibration, validation and good analytical practices.
Setting the standard for good analytical practices.
